I currently embed HTML snippets to display photo albums or gadgets on the website, which is easy to do for a non-techie like myself.  However, I find it challenging to edit the page after the fact, since once you go to edit mode, the photo album or gadget disappears, and you have to guess it's location on the page when adding other stuff or trying to delete it.

 Is there a trick to this I'm missing?  On a PC based program I use for another website, when you embed snippets, a small box with HTML on it is displayed in Edit mode only so you know where the object is.  I would find something like that very helpful when using these types of objects.
