  favicon doesn't work in IE 9 Reply Quote I created and uploaded a custom favicon (the small icon that appears in the tab and left side of the address bar in most browsers. It works perfectly in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera but does not work in IE 9.   I notice when I first load the page in IE 9, I see the icon very briefly (less than 1/2 a second) then it gets overwritten with the standard "e" IE icon.
