    Customize message on registration page

I can't find a thread on this - forgive me if there already is one. I continue to have an issue where my users are logged into the site, and go to register for an event. The email1 is pre-populated, yet they change it to be their email as opposed to email1. So they are then registered as a non-member and add a contact to my database.

Is there a way around this? If I selected that only members could register - would the above scenario error them out and ask for the email1/member email to be used? Worst case scenario, I'd like to add a custom message to the registration main page that would note that they must register using email1.

Re: Customize message on registration page

Event registration is always on behalf of for the contact determined by entered email, not by currently logged in member - system adds new contact if required. This allows a member to register other people. Allowed registration types are also determined by entered email, not currently logged in member - so if your registration type is limited for members only, they will not be able to register non-member email.

To add a note to registration page, you can add description into event page (see page settings on your event list)
