    Complimentary registrations

We have monthly events and charge to attend.  Board members get to attend for free, as do our speakers and VIP's.

Currently, the only way I can see to have someone "Registered" but also "free" is to have them register (or "add attendee") but either way they receive an invoice.  This is not a big deal with our board members, but it's tacky to be sending an invoice to the Mayor or a Dignitary.

Any chance there is a work around that would allow us to register people for free without them being sent an invoice?

    Thanks,

    Julia

    Hi Julia,

We also have Event coupon codes -- http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Event+coupon+codes -- would this be a better solution for you?

    Re: Complimentary registrations

Do you register them yourself (as admin)? If so, you may not generate invoice, just add attendee and confirm it without invoice.

If they are registering themselves, then you need to create a dedicated registration type (free, zero priced) and make it available to either members of specific levels (i.e. your board members) or by special code  (as Samantha mentioned above).
