    Unsubscribe link

    Hi,

Is there a way to remove the Unsubscribe link that appears at the end of every blast?

We do not wish members to unsubscribe to manually sent emails, as they will not receive important messages anymore. Some members unsubscribe by mistake, without knowing what it implies. When told they won't receive any more information, they realize they made a mistake.

    Thanks,

    Nicole

I wish that the Unsubscribe link were just a bit less BIG and BOLD. I would include it, but I think fewer people would click if it were in a smaller font, perhaps off to the right-hand side. Less in-your-face.

    Re: Unsubscribe link

Due to spam and privacy reasons / laws this unsubscribe link cannot be removed, but perhaps making it customizable (e.g. changing font, location, label etc) might be the way to go. I will move this to the wishlist so we can get feedback from others.

    that would be good...

Sorry, I do not really see us doing this. Making it customizable pretty much means it can be made invisible (by tweaking color/size/style) and we do have to provide clearly visible link to people who are looking for it.

I see your point. Could we then make the label clearer? If it's about privacy laws, shouldn't it be called 'Spam/Privacy link' or something in that direction?

    Re: Unsubscribe link

Can you elaborate why? As far as know, this is most commonly named 'Unsubscribe' and this is what people would look for.

    Re: Unsubscribe link

Members who do not wish to receive information about new events will not receive information about the next AGM/voting ballots, for example. There is no way to select which category of manually sent blasts they wish to unsubscribe from. This would be impossible for you to customize, so I guess we will have to get used to it and hope they don't unsubscribe unintentionally.

Thanks again for a great software,

    Nicole
