    Embedding PDF's and Other Documents

It's a common misconception that PDF's are images. They are in fact a different type of word processing file in the same sense that MS Word and WordPefect files are. These files by design are not embeddable. To share them, you would need to upload them and provide a link to them as described here.

There are services available however that will convert your files into an embeddable format and provide you with a width to display it on your site. On such service is Scribd.com

    Using Scribd you can upload:

    • *.PDF
    • *.DOC
    • *.DOCX
    • *.XLS
    • *.XLSX
    • ...and more

The service it free, give it a try here: http://www.scribd.com/upload-document

To add the widget to your website, click here to see how to add HTML to your page.

I found the solution. Yes, Scribd does provide widgets - both in flash and in HTML5 in fact.
