    photo galleries

I have a client with a photo club which would like to display a photo gallery on the website. They do not wish to use the popular public tools like flickr to manage the photos due to security concerns and copyright protection. WA does not have access to side servers or PHP and this is a problem for their current tool, slideshow Pro. They use Lightroom to manage the photos currently and want to continue with this tool.

Does anyone have some suggestions that could help us?

    thanks for your talented knowledge!

    Hi Cathy,

I am not sure what exactly are you asking for - and I am not familiar with Lightroom. Can you elaborate?

    Re: photo galleries

Again, my client does not want public 3rd party slideshows/galleries like photobucket, flickr and the like. I have purchased 3rd party software and have put the js and photos in new folder under resources the css was put in custom css. It is not working and was wondering where to put the link to the js file in my homepage where the slideshow resides.

Another question....I can put slideshow together in Flash will this work with WA and will this show up on all browsers?

     Any help is always appreciated,

     Melinda

    Melinda,

If you have uploaded your gallery files, you will need to add the appropriate code to your page to embed the gallery.

You can insert the code on your page by clicking the [HTML] button in the website editor, see: Inserting HTML

Yes, a flash based slideshow will work with Wild Apricot.  You will need to upload the files similar to the js and css files.  A flash slideshow will show up for people who have flash installed on their computers.

    Cheers,

    Omar
