I've already posted over on the "wishlist" for volunteer tracking... but what I'd like to know now is, until that functionality is added - what are people doing currently?
We want to be able to track what someone volunteers for - the position AND the dates of that position, so we know if it's active or not.
I'd rather not add a bunch of custom fields unless I have to.
We've considered using Groups, but that seems to me to be a bit clumsy - maybe I'm just not seeing it clearly enough.
Any ideas from your experience would be great!
