Currently only basic contact information from a member record automatically populates an event registration from when a member logs in and registers for an event.
We would like the ability to designate additional fields to automatically populate a registration record. The specific need/example we have is Date of Birth. Many of our events offer different pricing for Seniors or Juniors, and we also need to provide DOB to travel agents for issuing plane tickets for our fly trips.
Our old database tracked our membership database by age bracket (member checked off which bracket they were in), but since members are not forced to update their membership record, we will never have updated age information for our membership unless we get their date of birth on their record. But since we ask them for that on every trip that requires it (to save the event manager from manually looking it up on every record), we don't want to do that until this feature is available (and there are forced updates to the member profile on renewal, which is another thread on this forum).
