Possible to use custom domain name for emails but not the website?

    Hi folks,

My organization already has a website built, which we will be integrating Wild Apricot widgets into, as we don't want to point our domain at WA's nameservers and switch everything over.

However, we would like to be able to have membership/events/etc emails come from our own domain (eg [something]@socedvic.org), not from socedvic@wildapricot.org, as they do now.

Is it possible to implement our domain into our From: header without actually switching the whole thing over? From the help document I got the idea that it's not, but I'm hoping I'm wrong. :)

    Thanks,

You are right, its not possible for the "From" email to be @socedvic.org without first setting up a custom domain on your Wild Apricot site. One workaround is to create a sub-domain like "members.socedvic.org" at your domain registrar and use that for your Wild Apricot site.

Thank you so much for the suggestion, Jim! I've done it and it works.
