Populate Membership Directory Page by Any Type of Saved Search

We have all of our corporate sponsors set as a separate membership level. I'd like to be able to expose the sponsors as a saved search on a web page. I can currently do this to an extent, but I'd prefer to just have a list much like we currently do by hand at this page: http://baama.org/sponsors

Right now, I can get the list of corporate sponsors to come up,but there's not way to not provide  hyperlink to member details (with bundle administrator and bundle members). I don't need that much detail.

Ideally, we could just have a list like the previous link. The link shows the company names grouped by industry. We'd also want the list to be dynamic. If a corporate member were past-due, we'd like the corporate member name to be automatically removed. When the corporate remembers renews, we'd like the name to be automatically added back to the page.

can you elaborate further -- what's the key thing missing from the current functionality? Ability Not to link to member profile page from the directory itself?

Re: Populate Membership Directory Page by Any Type of Saved Search

Hi, Am New to the group.

Wild Apricot has been a GREAT solution to our membership directory and members-only-section benefits.  Thank you.

I would too would like the ability to pull the BOD members select information from our database to display to the public on a page, but I don't want to have a search engine that shows the whole membership directory.  The current way I found is that I have to make the page a function, and the link it to the entire membership list, even if I try and advance search it to just the BOD members.

Can't I get a clean view:, or just pull the fields of spacific individuals to a page?

Here is what I have: http://bata.shuttlepod.org/Default.aspx?pageId=1001882

(OH, and how do you turn off the double spacing? Every time I hit enter, it puts a space in there.)

    Thanks Mich

Re: Populate Membership Directory Page by Any Type of Saved Search

    Mich,

That should be pretty easy to setup - as long as all of them are members. Go into Members tab, create a Saved search (http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Saved+searches+-+Members ), then setup a member directory page based on that search:

    http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Member+directory#Memberdirectory-Selectwhichrecordstoinclude

About spacing - the most common approach on the web (which we follow too) is to create new paragraphs on Enter (p tag). The spacing of paragraphs can be customized via CSS Customization screen in Wild Apricot. Or use Shift+Space (works in most but not all browser+OS combos) to insert line break (br tag).
