Re: Showing list of registered attendees on public event page [2475]

Great!!! Can we have this feature available for certain groups.

We run a Scuba Diving club.

Boat captains, who not necesarilly have, want or need admin access,  require to know who has booked the event  to be able to plan the dive based on skill and training.

If only them are able to see who's booked then privacy is not an issue.

    Thanks

Re: Would like attendees to be able to see who is attending event

If the concern if for non-member attendees being displayed, what if a preference questions could be implemented right into the registration form itself?   Further, this would allow members to choose event-by-event which they would prefer to publish their attending status.

We would greatly benefit from this feature.  For many of our events, we publish attendee rosters so people can coordinate hotel rooms, car pooling, etc.  We also publish rosters of vendors and exhibitors who have registered to attend.  Right now this is all being done by hand through PDFs.  Having a live, dynamic list would be very useful.

I completely understand the privacy aspect, but I believe having an opt-out (or if really paranoid, an opt-in) in the registration form itself would solve that problem.

We'd love this, but it would need to only be viewable by signed in members for privacy reasons.

I'd like to add my vote in support of this feature as well.  It'd be great if members could see which other members have already registered for the event.  For privacy reasons, there should also be a "Do not publicly display my registration" checkbox or some other way to opt-out if you don't want your name displayed.

Our developers are currently working on this feature.

On the event details page there will be a link to a list of people who have registered for the event. As always, you can decide if you want to make this link and list visible to everyone, just other members, or not at all. In addition, registrants can opt out of displaying their name on the list when they register.

We are planning to release this as part of version 3.3, which is expected towards the end of 2009.

This feature has been added to Wild Apricot as part of version 3.3, which was released on December 14. Now you can set up a list of registrants to be displayed on your event details page which can be shared with either other member or the public. Registrants can opt-out if they do not want their name to be listed.

This thread will be be archived. If you have any other suggestions for events or attendee lists, please do not hesitate to add them to the Wishlist forum.
