Wanted to share what we did with the login box on this site. I like this better and am going to change the other site we did which I am finally getting around to the design on.
Maybe this is something you guys can offer as an option in the future?

(it is still in progress, so excuse grainy headers!)
very cool!
Though my personal opinion is that for usability reasons showing login fields makes it easier for people to find/recognize login for what it is.
yes I can see your point.
This would be for those who have limited space, to have the option to give different login options. www.kailuachamber.com is a good example. It took away from the header to have a box there and with us adding more and more advertising to the side bar it got lost.

Thanks,
Fresh Apricot:The DFW Interactive Marketing Association ( http://www.dfwima.org ) is one of my favorites.
Um, I just looked at their site and it looks like it's a Wordpress blog now. View the source and you'll see what I mean.
I like it! How did you get the rotating images on the header?

Actually this is a good example of integrating a Word Pres site with Wild Apricot. You'll notice this once you click on the become a member icon (top right) and then view the source of that page :)

This organization is using both - if you look at any member-related or event pages you'll see it's using Wild Apricot for those functions:
Dani,
I love your login box treatment. Are you willing to share how you implemented?
Thanks in advance.

I love the setup of this site. Is there anyway to share in the customization done on this site. I have had issues with the drop down menus staying in site, taking up precious room, this would eliminate that problem all together for me. I like how it drops the top menu to the side, allowing for non-intrusion of the web page itself.
I like the way http://www.dfwima.org/ uses the login. How can I do that? What customization steps should I do to implement this into my site?
I love the top corner piece as well, the "Become a Member" triangle. How can i do this as well? THANKS!
That site development looks awesome
I'd love to see some more new ones if people will share
Hi Dani,
I would love to know more about how you developed your rotational banner.

This is a nicely designed Yoga site:

We were able to change the template enough to match the templates used by the whole university: http://oedk.rice.edu/
I am working on learning more CSS options to challenge the site even further!
Instead of "members" we have used the profile pages to highlight our engineering design projects.
So far so good. Customizable profile pages would be ideal...looking forward to some upgrades!
Thanks for sharing! Nice look, simple and elegant.
By the way, you might want to explore Theme Overrides for even deeper customization if needed:

Finally, after months of hard work, my website is complete and I wanted to share it with other WA users/developers for feedback. Check it out at http://www.girlnetic.com.
We are a membership-based and events centric organization and for the past couple of months have been researching to find the best option for us to help manage our organization. At first was hesitant on using the WA platform because it was still missing some functionalities that are important to our website, i.e. more advanced blogging feature. I only decided to use WA when I came across dotCreativity Web Design Services who worked on integrating WA to our current website, customization and developing some of the missing features we required for WA to work for us. Believe it or not, our website is Wordpress and WildApricot combined! I'm SO happy with the result--everything is exactly how I want/need the website to be--and highly recommend dotCreativity to anyone looking to do more with their WA website!! I certainly will be!!
