    bookmarks

Is it possible to put clickable links to different parts of the page or sub-page. In other words, when they click a link, it will take them further down that SAME page to a different sub-topic. I know that it is simple to insert a link to another page, but I need to know if we are able to link to a different area of the same page...so the visitor can move quickly around the page to a different sub-topic. Normally I would call this a bookmark, rather than a hyperlink.

If it can be done, is there any information available about how it is handled in Wild Apricot page design anywhere?

    Thanks,

    Doug Canning

    Re: bookmarks

For now these types of anchor links have to be created using HTML, see creating anchor links. However in our upcoming release (towards the end of this month) it will become possible to insert the anchors (as well as table of contents) directly using the wysiwyg editor toolbar.

We will notify you a few days prior to the release date, and after you log into your site you will also see a note about Wild Apricot being updated to ver. 4.0.
