Display format for organization vs. individuals [6340]

Would be very helpful to also have the Organization. You have organization in the Members search return. Thanks.

  Display format for organization vs. individuals [6340] We are an association of companies. The companies are the responsible parties represented by the contact. The contacts' first and last name are not easily recognized or referenced, e.g. accounting software. We would like to see the company name in the contact, member, transaction, etc. lists. This could be a selected option or addition to the standard configuration that would eliminate a real burden of cross referencing!

  Re: Listing members, company/organization field should be an option This is a very valid point - we do have lots of clients in the same boat. We used to have Organization as a mandatory system field for this purpose but it was irritating for people who do not use this field. (BTW - the overall issue is that we are trying away to go away from 'system fields' to have more flexibility and then the question becomes - which field is used for Organization out of all the custom fields) Dmitry Buterin, Chief Apricot
